They do not have grilled fish. They have baked fish and must call at least 1 hour ahead of planned arrival to order the baked fish. Best to call the day before to make reservation & place order Seasoning options are lemon pepper, Cajun, or regular seasoning.
Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-8pm Sunday 11am-8pm
The food is well worth the money. I highly recommend eating here. A little advise....if you like to spice your beans up then use some of their homemade relish. So Good!!!
No it is all priced the same.
Very dirty & no social distancing being practiced.
Delicious fish cooked to perfection! Loved the beans, coleslaw and hushpuppies too! Must stop if you are in the area!
I had the Shrimp Dinner, delicious, baked potato, slaw, beans, hush puppies 😁it was so pleasant and good to be with family ❤️ thank you for making it a great experience.
Great service friendly people
I had the all you can eat catfish dinner. The catfish was cooked perfectly. The tarter sauce was not sweet which is good for me because I can't stand sweet tarter sauce. The service was very good. Lots of people come to eat here. I had to wait about 20 minutes but it was worth it. They do take reservations but it has to be an hour in advance.
Good food. Very good service. Most offerings are fried. Google directions or GPS the address. This place sits back 100 yards and does not face the road. The sign is on the restaurant but cannot be seen from the road.
Awesome food.. very huge portion.. great .. friendly staff
Great fish and server and nice people to be around and relaxing to sit outside in the summer meet new people enjoyed it each and every time I go
Stay away. Eat at the gas station for better food.
The locals need to petition Guy F of Diners, Driver Ins and Dives fame, to get this place in the show. Not the hours: Wed-Sun, 4-8 and that's it. Crowded. Servers work their tails off.It was highly recommended by the hotel, and they know why it's a local favorite. Just be warned, they also agree there is a price to be paid that is best summed up by the sign over the register: "It ain't food if it ain't fried." If your digestive system can take it, the food is delicious. Not everyone can take it, so I feel obligated. I can, but with some complaining inside. It was the first time I ever had fried green tomatoes. Hear about them, saw them on DDD, no place I've lived has them (both coasts including rural areas, mid Atlantic). So that, as a side dish, was a treat. The signature catfish was wonderful. It's a bigger experience than that, though.
Fried okra was superb. The others loved the fish. Call ahead if you have a big group.
Hushpuppies then beans then slaw then catfish. Weird how they serve. Beans were highlight of the meal.
We celebrated a birthday there last night. The service was good and the hush puppies were really yummy. They were open from 4-8 pm and only have indoor setting. You can't make reservations.
My sister and family of 5 with myself a total of 6 at a table in a separate room. Until a party of 14 came in and seated in the same area. We couldn't even back our chairs out because it was extremely packed. We are out of towners but also know better than sitting within 6 feet of others. We know what is in accordance to the 6ft rule in the towns we're traveling to. I do NOT appreciate them seating us that closely and it was disrespectful to our family. Dont follow rules
Great service and food!
Some people love this place. It's definitely one of a dying breed (I hope). I think it's a non historical nod to times long past. But I find it to be just a bunch of fried items with a side of beans and cornbread. I guess that's what some people want. But if you want something a bit more, give this place a pass.
Very good as usual we really enjoy every time 👍
My family and I were so disappointed. The food was overpriced and didn’t taste good. The best part was our friendly server.
Ate here last night. The food was delicious. Had the catfish, beans, slaw, and fried green tomatoes. The waitress was excellent. While we had a short wait to be seated we fed the turtles, fish, and geese in the pond.
Ate here in the 90’s & came back 2 times in a week. Delicious and lovely staff. Quick food service. A family favorite for decades!!!
A western KY staple. Great catfish and I can't get enough beans and hush puppies.
Very dangerous place. It's hard not to eat too much. Wear loose-fitting clothes...you'll thank me later!
Food was good, everything came out hot and the waitress was very attentive. There are only two choices chicken strips or catfish, but you get white beans, hush puppies, a baked potato and coleslaw on the side and a soda. I feel that you get your money's worth.
We go there quite often. The fish is awesome. All u can eat hushpuppies, beans, slaw. If u have leftovers the kids can take them out to feed the ducks and turtle s.
My favorite restaurant when visiting ky lake. Great food and staff
Very sad they were closed today. Driving thru from Boston to Arkansas and went out of the way just to eat here at abot 5:30pm but they're closed. Saw 4 other cars pulling in to. Love this place. But sad today.
Best catfish we have had in a long time. Great food. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Clean.
Awesome catfish diner! Don’t worry about leaving without being full!! Friendly and quick service. Be sure to reserve a table before they open! Especially on weekends because they are really busy!
The owners and staff are very friendly. I had a bunch of family come in last minute due to my grandmother passing, they were not only able to accommodate all of us on short notice but gave us a private room to enjoy time with family. The food and service were both amazing.
Awesome food. It was hot and fresh. Will be back.
The place to go in the lakes area for catfish. Call ahead and make reservations or expect a wait. Eclectic decor that makes it feel even more crowded because of stuff everywhere bothered me a bit but not a big deal. Food is hot and fresh. Had catfish, white beans, slaw, hushpuppies and fries. They bring you plenty of everything and make sure to try their homemade chow chow on the white beans.
Before they sold the business to the new owners, the hush puppies, the chicken tenders, and the catfish were all exemplary. I regret to say that that fact is no longer true. All the food was just "Ok." The atmosphere is still intact, but everything else has declined. Quick service, friendly servers, and country fishing atmosphere are about all that make this restaurant worth the visit.
It's nice place to eat and to be able to watch the fish and turtles 🐢 come around the dock
Absolutely to die for! The food was amazing with fantastic service. The scenery and look of the entire place was cozy and made me feel very at home. After you enjoy your food you can give some of your leftovers to the variety of animals on the lake that surrounds the restaurant. You'll see tons of turtles, small fish, huge catfish, and geese. Where I sat there was a rainbow in my window and you could see the geese eating. 10/10 would definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant.
Got our food to go, home style fries was no flavor , hush puppies burnt and no plastic ware to eat the slaw with , not satisfied
It was really good especially for the fish lovers. I like their hot sauce which makes fish taste really rich
Always good! Fast friendly service
My brother and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday. We arrived just as they opened at 11am and about the time church must have ended because every car going by had its blinker on to pull in there. The food was VERY tasty and the service was great! Tammy was our server and checked on us numerous times while we were devouring catfish fillets, ham & beans, cole slaw and a large bowl of hush puppies that were unbelievably delicious. We'll definitely be back here!!! P.S. Like peach cobbler? Try theirs <drool>!!!
Food..delicious. They raise their own catfish in the huge pond behind the restaurant. Check out the pond and take hush puppies or bread with you because you can feed the fish and the turtles.
The beans and hush puppies are very delicious. I ordered the three piece catfish meal because I was really hungry when I got there. I got so full on the beans and hush puppies that I had trouble eating all three pieces of fish. It is located in a pretty spot too, with good views of a pond.
Food was okay, except the cobbler it was amazing! The ambiance was really neat with the ponds full of fish and turtles. The kids really enjoyed that.
One of the best places to eat catfish hushpuppys coleslaw
Been here several times when we visit the area. Great food and fast service for sure. Love the atmosphere as well.
I've been eating at this restaurant for 15 years and tonight the fish didn't taste good. Three in our party had fish and we all thought it didn't taste good. I don't know what has changed, but we won't be back.
Great food and great service. Thank you from Hickman,Ky
This place has great catfish and excellent sides to go with your meal. My family and I live in the area and love Catfish kitchen, if you leave this place hungry it's your own fault! Great job guy's on countless years of awesome food and service!
